“Space is an inspirational concept that allows you to dream big.”
– Peter Diamandis
How often do you find yourself saying, “I need to be more organized, focused, and have more time”? Many of you may relate to the nagging thought of desiring to have less clutter! Since we take ourselves everywhere, this manifests not only in our physical environment but in our minds as well.
Are you ready to retrain your mind?
Up until now, we have procrastinated, made up stories, blamed, complained, and made excuses. Many of us feel we have stepped onto the hamster wheel, and life keeps spinning. We claim we want to get off, and we make claims we want more happiness, love, money, time, and freedom.
Yet sometimes, we become attached to the habit of thinking a certain way, not believing anything else is possible. We become oblivious to our resistance to change, judging that a different thought, approach, or a new way of living in the world could happen for you.
While making a reference to a personal circumstance, I could hear the feeling of defeat in a loved one’s tone and attitude after saying the phrase “it is what it is”. As I mulled that comment over in my mind, I asked myself, Is that really true? Aren’t we able to choose to think and act differently no matter what our circumstances may be?
How might you feel if you were to embrace yourself with more love, compassion, forgiveness, and gratitude?
How might you create a more expanded version of the current story you have been telling yourself and others to open to greater possibilities?
Have you ever been talking with a friend, family member, or co-worker who is perseverating over something that may have happened at work or at home and cannot shake the thought? That may even be you! Carrying that energy of fear, doubt, and angst in our minds and bodies is not serving your health or wellness!
It’s time to create more space in the body, mind, and soul. What are you waiting for?
One action step is letting go of old beliefs that may have been true to survive the past but today no longer serve you. Are you ready to thrive?
The choice is now. Taking responsibility for our choices can expand our space and shift our energy for a more peaceful heart and mind connection.
Are you ready for greater love, happiness, and freedom? What if you could give this gift to yourself? How would you feel?
Allow yourself to imagine how you would love things to look, with greater organization and space, releasing the things that you really aren’t using anymore.
Here are a few mindful strategies for creating more space in your mind, body, and spirit. Incorporate these into your daily and/or weekly practices.
- Spend 5-10 minutes sitting in stillness, opening to a sense of inner peace.
- Begin re-training your mind with loving messages for yourself and your surroundings.
- Listen to the Spirit within you that intuitively knows it’s time to release and surrender the attachments you have for “your stuff”.
- Take baby steps, start with a pile, a wallet, a drawer, a cabinet, you choose. This is how we create new space for new things to happen.
As an accelerator coach for the Your Year of Miracles program, we use a great strategy for decluttering, referred to as the “27/9”. Release, let go, toss, declutter 27 items every day for 9 days. This is something your whole family can play! It’s fun and shifts not only your physical space but builds momentum and space for greater peace of mind, happiness, and satisfaction.
Join me this month as I declutter and organize! Let me know how this is working for you as you create more space!
Wishing you much love, health, and happiness.
