Trusting More

“Twenty years from now you will be more disappointed by the things you didn’t do, than by the ones you did do. So, throw off the bowlines. Sail away from the safe harbor. Catch the Trade Winds in your sails. Explore, Dream, Discover.””

– Mark Twain

What if you could let go of worry and trust more?

Are you ready to trust yourself and take actions that are beyond your current knowing?

What does that feel like in your body? Do you notice your shoulders relaxed and dropping from where they often reside, raised up by your earlobes? Is there a fluttering in your heart? Or do you feel a constriction in your gut?

Take a moment to think about how much time in your day you worry, fret, perseverate, or just feel down. Can you relate? How would it feel if you trusted yourself deep inside, your true loving essence?

What if I told you all things work out no matter what?

I used to worry all the time about how things would happen, putting things off, sometimes blaming others for my circumstances, even the weather. Did I truly think I had control over the weather?

My mind was so familiar with worrying that it became a regular pattern of thought. Hardly recognizing that my mind was running me versus the other way around, to listen and trust the soft messages from my heart and soul.

What does “trusting more” in your life mean for you?

For me, I learned to let go of “how” things looked or believed they should be. If you are willing, I challenge you this month to notice how many times in your life you use the word “should” or question wanting to know the “how”.

Trusting more is about surrendering to the past, embracing this moment and  future. Remain open to opportunities for a greater connection to Spirit, self-love, care, compassion, and freedom.

What if you could make changes in your life? What is possible?

Allow yourself to harness the courage and desire to live life as an adventure, trying  new things without judgment, taking  risks, and trusting  more.

Take the leap of faith.

Wishing you much health, happiness, and love.
